🥯 Bagels, a Petting Zoo, and The Parade of Homes

Thursday, September 4th in Vancouver, Washington

Happy Thursday, Vancouver!

We’ve got a jam-packed update for you this week: lots of road news and a weekend calendar so full it might need its own traffic report. And can we talk about how it’s only September 4th? Somehow this month already feels like it’s been 531,985 days long, and we’re not sure if that’s the heat, the rain, or just 2025 being 2025?!

Anyways, here's what to expect in today's edition of The PNW Report (Vancouver):

🎉 SE 1st Street Construction is FINALLY Done!

Buh-bye, cone zone! After what felt like 47 years and 12 million orange cones, the barricades on SE 1st Street are gone (the project started in May 2024 and opened to the public yesterday). You may now drive from East Vancouver to 192nd Street Costco without detours, potholes, or existential dread!
