LOCAL NEWS

šŸ’§ The Alley Tea Shop Opens in Vancouver

Sip, sip, hooray! Vancouver just got a new hideout for tea lovers: the Alley Tea Shop. This offshoot of the popular Alfred Coffee based in Los Angeles has just opened a new franchise at 7910 E Mill Plain. However you like your tea: matcha, boba, or classic black, this spot’s got your back (and your cup). How tea-riffic!

šŸ• Vancouver-Based Hellfired Pizza Shuts Down

Vancouver-based Hellfired Pizza has officially closed its Columbia House Blvd location. This shutdown was part of a wider move: Hellfired’s parent company, Hot Stone LLC, shuttered all four of its locations (including the Vancouver site) due to financial friction and staffing struggles. We will miss them, and they will always have a pizza our hearts.

šŸ› Oakbrook Park in Central Vancouver is Getting a MAJOR Makeover

A Portland Loo will also be installed. Phase one is in progress with an expected opening date of September 2025. In phase two, a splash pad and picnic shelter will be constructed.
