Another heat wave is rolling in, which means itās time to perfect that artful dash between air-conditioned buildings. But hey, thereās at least one upside to all this extra sunshine: you can now cool down with a milkshake from the brand-new In-N-Out in Ridgefield. On top of that, the calendar is bursting with events all over town: festivals, concerts, markets, and more. So grab your shades, your patience, and maybe a Double-Double, because itās going to be a busy (and hot) weekend!

š Ridgefield In-n-Out Is Now Open
The long-awaited day has finally arrived: Ridgefieldās brand-new In-N-Out is officially serving up Double-Doubles, animal-style fries, and milkshakes thick enough to bend a straw. Prepare yourself for long drive-thru lines, happy taste buds, and the undeniable smell of grilled onions drifting across Clark County. This will have to do until our very own East Vancouver location opens up at a date yet to be announced!
šŖ§ Evergreen School District Workers Rallied Hard Yesterday
For the first time in 57 years, Evergreenās paraeducators, bus drivers, and maintenance staff are weighing a strike that could delay the first day of school for Evergreen School District. Workers marched Wednesday demanding livable wages ahead of their vote today. The district says it values staff but is strapped for cash. Signs at the rally said it best: āFair contract today, no more delay.ā
