Happy Thursday, Vancouver!
Well, a lot of you are suffering. From allergies, that is. A whopping 62% of you have seasonal allergies right now, according to the results from Mondayās poll. So if youāve been wondering whether itās just you or if all of Vancouver is collectively sneezingā¦confirmed. Itās all of us.

On the bright side, the sunshine has been on point, spring break is in full swing for local schools, and thereās some exciting news coming out of downtown Vancouver that weāre very ready to talk about. Growth! Activity! Reasons to leave the house (assuming you can see through the pollen haze).
And of course, weāve got a packed lineup of events to help you make the most of this weekend.

š Vancouver Farmers Market Reopens on Both Days Until October
The Downtown Vancouver Farmers Market is officially in its two-day era for the next six months! From April through October, you can now wander, snack, and impulse-buy on Saturdays (9 AMā3 PM) and Sundays (10 AMā3 PM). In November, we all go back to our regularly scheduled one-day commitment issues with Saturdays only (10 AMā2 PM). But for nowā¦enjoy!
š® Downtown Vancouver is Finally Getting a Food Cart Pod
Downtown Vancouver WA is finally getting in on the food cart pod action after watching East Vancouver get not just one, but two, food cart pods in the last two years. But things are changing: a local developer is building a 10-cart pod, at the former site of Vancouver Glass, just one block from Esther Short Park. The food cart pod, called Couve Carts, will have: covered seating, a projector for movies and sports, a taphouse, and even play areas for dogs and kids. Couve Carts will debut in November 2026.
