🍦 Handel’s Ice Cream is Coming to 192nd and Mill Plain

Get ready to chill out in style: Handel’s Ice Cream will soon be opening at the site of the former Starbucks that closed earlier this year on 192nd and Mill Plain.

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream has been churning out joy since 1945. It started in Youngstown, Ohio, and has grown to 150+ locations across 15 states. Every scoop is made fresh daily, and they rotate through more than 140 seasonal flavors (48 flavors are usually available every day). Handel’s has earned some serious cred, too: National Geographic called it #1 Ice Cream on the Planet. Talk about legen-dairy!

🍳 Javi’s Breakfast Cafe Will Take Over Former Woody’s Tacos Spot on Mill Plain

The old Woody’s Tacos location is about to go from taco Tuesday to sunny-side-everyday, because Javi’s Breakfast Café is moving in. A liquor license application was filed and posted this month at 7900 E Mill Plain Blvd by the same owners as the popular Portland-based breakfast joint. How egg-cellent is that?!
