Happy Monday, Vancouver!
If yesterday felt like a full four seasons crammed into one day, you weren’t imagining things…we woke up to sweater weather and rain, only to be sunbaked by the afternoon. At least the Pearson Field Centennial Celebration got the memo and turned out absolutely lovely in between.
Now that we’ve survived our city’s little meteorological mood swing, it’s back to business: there’s a lot going on this week and we have a report on a local coffee shop for you to check out! Oh, and Shana Tova to all who celebrate ❤️

👏 Give More 24 Returns After 2-Year Hiatus
After a two-year nap, Southwest Washington’s biggest day of giving returns on Thursday, Sept. 25th. Over 180 local nonprofits are ready for your generosity for 24 hours of giving (both online and in-person). We’ll highlight local events below that are a part of this campaign with **GiveMore24** as part of the title!
🚧 I-5 Bridge Replacement Program Updates
After years of delays, the I-5 bridge replacement is (maybe) finally (sort of) potentially (kinda) ready to start construction in 2026?! Tolling would begin in Spring 2027, according to the administrator from the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program. But as it seems to be with this project, delays are very common. We’ll bridge the gap on information if that does happen!
