👩‍⚖️ Vancouver Attorney Josephine Townsend Will Spend 10 Days in Jail

Order is in the court…sort of. Vancouver defense attorney Josephine Townsend just got sentenced to 10 days in jail for forging a judge’s signature. She’ll serve the rest of her four-month sentence on house arrest. Townsend denies any wrongdoing and is appealing. See you later, litigator?

💰 Vancouver Heights Purchase Moves Forward

Vancouver just dropped a cool $11.5 million to snag four properties in the Heights District, paving the way (literally) for the Grand Loop: the future street that’ll circle the city’s long-planned, walkable, mixed-use wonderland. PeaceHealth gets to keep the hospice and offices until 2030, but eventually it’s bye-bye parking lot, hello Heights!
