Happy Thursday, Vancouver!
SoâŚdid anyone else get woken up by that 2AM thunderstorm yesterday? It certainly was a dramatic way to remind us that summerâs almost over and Labor Day weekend is finally here! While plenty of folks will be hitting the road, for those of us sticking around Vancouver, donât worry: there are plenty of events to keep things lively (without the traffic).
Here's what to expect in today's edition of The PNW Report (Vancouver):

đ° Vancouver Heights Purchase Moves Forward
Vancouver just dropped a cool $11.5 million to snag four properties in the Heights District, paving the way (literally) for the Grand Loop: the future street thatâll circle the cityâs long-planned, walkable, mixed-use wonderland. PeaceHealth gets to keep the hospice and offices until 2030, but eventually itâs bye-bye parking lot, hello Heights!
