🤧 Is Everyone Sick in Vancouver?!

Thursday, January 8th in Vancouver, Washington

Happy Thursday, Vancouver!

We’re all still writing 2025 instead of 2026, and honestly, who can blame us? Add to that the fact that everybody (and their mothers) seems to be sick in Vancouver right now, and it’s a miracle anyone remembers what day it is, let alone the year.

Are you sick right now?

Despite the sniffles, sneezes, and general calendar confusion, Vancouver is still humming along with events, gatherings, and cozy spots to escape the winter gloom. So grab your tissues, double-check that date you just wrote, and remember: even if the world feels a little off, there’s still plenty to do around town.

Anyways, here's what to expect in today's edition of The PNW Report (Vancouver):

LOCAL NEWS

🎤 New Karaoke Bar Opens in Camas

Camas just hit a high note with the opening of Drop the Mic Karaoke at 224 NE 3rd Ave…and this one comes with some hometown Camas-Vancouver harmony! The spot is owned by Vancouver-based locals who clearly decided Clark County needed more power ballads per capita, and we totally support the mission. Oh, and a note-worthy bonus for families…Drop the Mic Karaoke is all-ages until 9PM every day!

🎤 VPS Benefit Concert @ Brickhouse | 4PM - 9PM ($20)
Turn it up for a good cause! Brickhouse Bar & Grill is cranking the amps for the Kids Wanna Rock Benefit. Kill the Headlights, School of Rock, Haute Mess, SmokeWagon, and more will be strumming tunes, plus food and drinks to keep your energy in encore mode. It’s a suggested $20 donation (don’t fret, because no one will be turned away) and every dollar hits a high note for music education at Vancouver Public Schools.
