☀️ Is Vancouver's Summer Starting Early?!
Monday, May 11th in Vancouver, Washington

Happy Monday, Vancouver!
Friendly PSA: the large bright orb currently visible in the sky is called the sun. It is not a threat. You do not need to call anyone. Experts confirm it will be present most of this week, with temperatures climbing to the mid 80s this week, and we are all just going to have to figure out how to function like normal human beings in that environment. You've trained for this. Probably.

LOCAL NEWS
🎭 Vancouver Is (Very Likely) Getting a World-Class Performing Arts Center in East Vancouver
It’s time for East Vancouver to take a bow! The Friends of Center for the Arts just unveiled the first look at the massive new performance hub that has been proposed for Columbia Palisades, and we’ll be the first to say…it’s a total showstopper! We’re talking a sleek, 1,250 seat main stage and a 300 seat black box theater.
The design is being handled by ZGF Architects (AKA the same team that gave PDX its viral glow-up). This upgrade would mean that we could finally catch top-tier productions here in Vancouver without having to battle bridge traffic. Let’s hope this project breaks a leg!
