Happy Thursday, Vancouver!

We have good news and bad news for you. The bad news? The temperatures are dropping. The good news? The SEAHAWKS ARE HEATING UP!

Our boys in blue have officially advanced to the NFC Championship and will be facing off against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, January 25th at 3:30 PM.

If you’re not a football fan, don’t worry…we’ve still got lots for you to do in our (freezing) city.

Anyways, here's what to expect in today's edition of The PNW Report (Vancouver):

LOCAL NEWS

🚦 After a Long Road… 137th Ave Is Finally Open

After months of cones, closures, and detours, NE 137th Avenue is officially open to cars. While a little cosmetic work is still happening (sidewalks, bike paths, landscaping, and all the finishing touches that make it look intentional), the big win is that you can now actually drive it.

The project (under construction since June 2024) brings wider lanes, a center turn lane near Fourth Plain, shiny new roundabouts (so many roundabouts), improved lighting, sidewalks, bike paths, and safer connections all along the corridor. Final paving and striping will wrap up as weather cooperates closer to spring 2026, but for now? Give your Waze some rest!
