🇺🇸 Vancouver Flag Design Competition Deadline is on June 14th

Remember Vancouver’s design competition for a new city flag? Well, submissions are due by midnight on June 14 (Flag Day)! And sorry, the use of artificial intelligence is not allowed…but we know you have it in you 😉 start designing! For all of you bystanders, the new City of Vancouver flag should be adopted in Fall 2025.

🔥 Citywide Recreational Burn Ban Starts 6/13

Starting tomorrow at 12:01 a.m., Vancouver says “no thanks” to your backyard bonfires. So if you've got marshmallows to roast, do it now or forever hold your…s’mores? Cooking on outdoor barbecues is permitted, but recreational fires and campfires are explicitly prohibited until further notice. Stay tuned!
