The city's first-ever cat café opens tomorrow, a gourmet s'mores bar is headed downtown (because apparently summer wasn't indulgent enough already), and after surviving yesterday's thunderstorm and a week of pretending we all enjoy living on the surface of the sun, temperatures are finally settling back into something our Pacific Northwest constitutions can tolerate.

🔥 Toasted S’Mores Bar Coming to Downtown Vancouver This Summer

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to treat yourself this summer, the universe just handed you (well, staff members) a graham cracker and a blowtorch. Toasted S’Mores Bar is officially setting up shop in Downtown Vancouver!

Replacing the old Yogurt Time spot at Schofield's Corner on Main Street, this Portland-based campfire-inspired spot is opening its second location bringing handcrafted artisan s'mores, custom marshmallow flavors, and serious nostalgia right to the heart of the city. Summer 2026 opening TBD, but we’ll keep you updated when we know s’more information!

🎉 Camas Days Returns This Weekend and Bathtub Races are Involved?!

Camas Days is making its grand return to Historic Downtown Camas this Friday, July 24th through Sunday, July 26th! For over 50 years, this iconic hometown festival has been bringing all the summer nostalgia, and this weekend is packed to the brim with small-town fun.

Here’s what you can expect across six blocks of downtown celebration:

  • 🍔 Food & Craft Street Fair: Over 120 artisan vendors and food trucks line the streets all day Friday and Saturday.

  • 🎈 Parades Galore: The Kids Parade kicks off Friday at 12:15 PM, followed by the Grand Parade on Saturday at 11:00 AM.

  • 🛁 The Famous Bathtub Races: Yes, actual wheeled bathtubs racing down the street in front of City Hall on Saturday at 1:30 PM.

  • 🍻 Outdoor Beer & Wine Garden: Live music, cold drinks, and good vibes on Birch Street both nights (21+ after 5 PM)!

  • 🎨 Picnic in Color: Wrap up the weekend on Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM with free family art, crafts, and the annual Ducky Derby!
