Vancouver: Seahawks Fans or Not?

Thursday, January 29th in Vancouver, Washington

Happy Thursday, Vancouver!

Well, we crunched the numbers from our Seahawks fan poll and the results are…decisive. A whopping 70% of you are Seahawks fans, while a minor 30% are rooting for literally anyone else. Democracy has spoken, and it’s wearing blue and green.

As January slowly limps toward the finish line (how has this been the longest month and the shortest year so far?), we’re deep in peak winter: moody skies, damp sidewalks, and a collective desire for cozy plans. Luckily, Vancouver is still delivering…with events, updates, and enough reasons to leave the house (or at least consider it). We’ve got everything you need to close out January strong!

Anyways, here's what to expect in today's edition of The PNW Report (Vancouver):

😭 ABHIRUCHI Indian Restaurant on Chkalov Announces Permanent Closure

Vancouver just lost a little bit of its spice. It’s the update we were all dreading: Abhiruchi Indian Restaurant on Chkalov has officially announced they won’t be reopening following the massive kitchen fire they suffered in May.

The community has been holding out hope for months, but the road to rebuilding has proven too steep. We’ll tell you one thing: it is absolute naan-sense to lose one of the best Indian restaurants in Vancouver, and we’re so sad to see them go.
