Happy Monday, Vancouver!

We’re entering a somewhat…chaotic stretch where April Fools’ Day hits on Wednesday, (so trust absolutely no one) and Tax Day is just over two weeks away, somehow. It’s confusion. It’s anxiety. It’s…late March?

But! There is good news. First, we’ve got a preview of an absolutely massive 8" cinnamon roll available right here in Vancouver…because if we’re going to spiral, it might as well be frosted. Second, Vancouver’s first-ever cat café has officially found its home, which means our collective productivity is about to plummet in the best way possible.

🍴 Carol’s Cafe on St. Johns Has a Massive 8” Cinnamon Roll

In what we’re choosing to classify as very important local news, did you know that Vancouver is home to an absolutely massive 8" cinnamon roll (and yes, this feels like something the public deserves to know immediately). Is it breaking news? Debatable. Is it life-improving information? Without a doubt. Check out our preview below:

🐱 The Cat’s Out of the Bag: Kit-Tea Café Finds a Home

Big mews: Milky & Coco’s Kit-Tea Café has officially landed a spot on Fourth Plain (📍 5000 E Fourth Plain Blvd Suite E101 - E103). and is clawing its way toward a Summer 2026 opening. The cozy cat café will serve up coffee, tea, and snacks alongside plenty of adoptable feline friends…aka a purrfect recipe for losing track of time. Beyond the cuddles, they’re planning community events like cat yoga, game nights, and more, making this spot equal parts hangout and happiness factory.
