š Evergreen Schools Cuts 83 Positions as Part of $14 Million Budget Cuts

District leaders point to declining enrollment (down from 26,000 to under 22,000 students), inflation, and lagging state funding as the reason for the ongoing budget squeezeā¦marking the fourth round of major cuts in five years. Parents worry the cuts could drive enrollment down even further, while critics argue there may have been other places to trim first.
